Blocks lasted 20 trials and, unbeknownst to participants, were of two types. In learnable blocks, one of the doors was better because choosing it was associated with a 60% likelihood of a win. The other door only paid out 10% of the time. In unlearnable blocks, outcomes were not yoked to participant actions but were instead drawn from the learnable blocks and presented in random order. Thus, the win and loss totals were matched across the block types. There were 20 blocks in total (10 of each type), and each block was followed by a short survey asking which door was better, and whether the participant had fun, felt motivated, and did well.","bids_version":"1.8.0","sessions_count":null,"publish_date":null,"embedding_dirty":0,"license_tier":"public","zarr_status":"ready","zarr_converted_at":"2026-08-23 02:21:56","zarr_store_count":40,"zarr_index_etag":"2e9a97413e657edace1d903e238ca1b6","zarr_source_commit":"0ea2d3f35139c28fa2c83d132de776d38faa0333","archive_status":"ready","archive_size":2778747258,"archive_retry_count":0,"records_status":"ready","archive_skip_reason":null,"zarr_errors":0,"zarr_failure_count":0,"zarr_deterministic":0,"zarr_failed_at":null,"num_dataset_citations":1,"num_datapaper_citations":0,"n_channels":32,"electrode_system":"10-10","has_hed":0,"hed_version":"8.1.0","is_exemplar":0,"bytes_present":3587101275,"data_complete":1,"withdrawn_at":null,"withdrawn_reason":null,"archive_complete":null,"archive_absent_files":null,"archive_declared_files":null,"zarr_pool_breaks":null,"total_recording_duration":55991.880000000005,"recording_duration_min":1167.68,"recording_duration_max":1779.28,"recording_count":40,"recordings_unavailable":0,"recordings_measured":40,"channel_count_min":32,"channel_count_max":32,"sampling_frequency":1000,"power_line_frequency":60,"eeg_reference":"common","placement_scheme":null,"sweep_stamps":"{\"enrichment_updated_at\":\"2026-08-18 23:37:40\",\"metadata_updated_at\":\"2026-08-18 23:37:54\",\"archive_checked_at\":\"2026-06-30 17:12:57\",\"zarr_checked_at\":null,\"records_checked_at\":\"2026-06-30 17:10:52\",\"citations_updated_at\":\"2026-09-08 03:00:53\",\"channel_montage_checked_at\":null,\"hed_checked_at\":null,\"data_checked_at\":\"2026-09-04 03:00:32\",\"availability_report_at\":\"2026-07-23 01:33:18\",\"recording_stats_at\":\"2026-09-02 11:34:05\",\"signal_defaults_at\":\"2026-09-02 12:56:56\"}","participants":40,"num_citations":1,"latest_version":"v1.0.0","zarr_verify_status":null,"zarr_verified_at":null,"owner_username":"nemarAdmin","owner_github":"nemarAdmin","file_size_formatted":"3.34 GB","zarr_data_failures":null,"zarr_index_url":"https://zarr.nemar.org/on007647/zarr/index.json","attestation_deposit_type":null,"attestation_key_status":null,"attestation_deidentified":null,"attestation_no_duplicate":null,"attestation_upstream_source":null,"attestation_accepted_at":null}}
