High-density\nelectroencephalography (EEG) and eye-tracking data were recorded from a developmental\ncohort spanning childhood to adulthood while participants performed a battery of\ncognitive and perceptual paradigms. The resource was designed to enable research on the\nmaturation of information-processing in the human brain.\n\nThe BIDS conversion in this NEMAR record contains EEG data for **111 participants**\n(`sub-*` folders) under the `eeg/` modality.\n\n## Modality and paradigms\n\n- **Modalities:** High-density EEG (128-channel EGI HydroCel Geodesic Sensor Net,\n  recorded with NetStation at 500 Hz) and eye tracking\n- **Population:** Developmental cohort (children, adolescents, and adults; ages ~6–44\n  per Langer et al. 2017)\n- **Paradigm battery (per Langer et al. 2017):** resting state, surround suppression,\n  naturalistic viewing, contrast-change detection, sequence learning, and symbol search\n\n> **Note on task labels:** In this conversion each recording block is published as\n> `task-blockNN` (`task-block01` … `task-block10`) because the per-block paradigm mapping\n> is not explicitly enumerated in Langer et al. 2017.
